The more I think about it the more I realize just how important a culture is to having a healthy and happy group of people of any sort. Whether that’s a tribe, a nation, a community, a family, or even an individual. The culture of that particular tribe, family, etc. is going to have a bigger impact on how that particular group turns out than pretty much any other factor out there.
And when one does not create a unique culture of one’s own or find a culture that is most in line with one’s thinking then one is left with mainstream culture which is pure poison of the highest (or would it be lowest?) source. By creating a culture one can give themselves (as well as others within the culture, whether family, friends, or the community at large). A “head start” (to put it mildly) over those in inferior cultures.
And make absolutely no mistake there is such thing as superior and inferior cultures. Culture also provides a sort of resistance to the decaying effects of the mainstream culture as a whole. One raised in the right culture with the right values and understands (key word there) them as well as internalizes them will have a very different outcome in life than one that does not.
Reclaiming A Lost Culture
But what about the culture as a whole, it’s all well and good to have one’s own culture but how does one go about changing the culture as a whole and thereby changing a nation, a religion, a community, and a good many other things as a whole? How does one fight back against modern culture and all that comes with it while building and promoting a healthy culture of one’s own or a healthy alternative?
How does one reclaim something that is so far gone and lost as to be ridiculous? Is such a thing even possible? Or worthwhile? While I can’t give definite answers to such questions I can give a general breakdown of how to have an effect on the culture as a whole and how to start bringing a culture in a healthy direction. And the first thing to understand is that you will be opposed.
Nothing that happens is by accident and the way that our modern culture is, is not exception. There are forces that want it that way and will fight tooth and nail and try to throw anyone on the chopping block who fights back against it. But with that being said one can do their part to light a flame in the darkness, so to speak, and make their impact on the culture as a whole.
The Best Way To Impact Culture
So I’d say the biggest and best way to impact the culture as a whole is to possess billions and billions of dollars and use such money to institue the changes and desires that one has for a nation/people/etc. However most of us don’t have that, so with that out of the way there is another way to have a potentially huge impact on culture without owning a bank. And that is through art.
Art speaks to the emotions and is therefore one of the most powerful forces that man possess. Great art has changed nations and inspired great deeds, as well as completely changed the course that cultures were on. For better and for worse. A blockbuster movie, a great novel, a major band, or even a great painting can do much to change people’s hearts and thereby their mind.
Granted this is one of the reasons why having anything out of the mainstream put forth in Hollywood or from the major publishing houses is unlikely but with self-publishing and other venues one can now get their message out to the people without having the monied gatekeepers keeping them from doing so. Want to have an impact on the culture? Make art that speaks to the culture you believe in.
The Second Best Way To Impact Culture
Maybe art isn’t you’re thing, that’s fine there are still other ways to impact the culture around you or build one of your own. However as the heart is more powerful than the mind this isn’t as effective as art, though it can still do wonders and has it’s time and place in affecting a culture in a positive way. And that is argument and education. Look at things like alternative political ideologies or things like the red pill.
Through looking at the facts and presenting them in a coherent format one can change completely one’s stance and understanding of different things. There are certainly things that I never would have understood or believed on my own had they not been explained to me in such a detailed and in depth way. This site and my books serve as a testament to this.
Slowly but surely changing the minds (and thereby the lives) of men in a positive way. Not as effective as a novel or movie, but still moving the needle in the right direction so to speak. Helping men live more accurate lives based on truth as well as the primal and cosmic order. Fighting back against the modern world and modern culture. So after art comes argument and education.
The Third Best Way To Impact Culture
So maybe you’re no artist and don’t have the knack for persuasion or laying things out so people can understand. That doesn’t mean that you don’t have an avenue to effect the culture as a whole. There is still another thing that you can do and while it may never reach a mainstream audience it’ll still have an effect on those around you, often a very powerful effect. And that is live as an example.
Become the embodiment of the creed and culture that you believe in and represent. By doing so you show the world what happens when one follows certain ways. By your example you’ll help to “show people the light” but in the true sense. When people look at the madness around them and then look at you and see that things, while never perfect, are in fact different they’ll start to think and ask themselves “why?”.
I’ve noticed this with certain groups and cultures and have become intrigues by them and it’ll be no different with you. For example some cultures are obvious producing healthier societies and one can’t help by wonder why this is. Many of these cultures are only growing and will continue to grow as people realize the poison of the mainstream culture and look for alternatives.
Changing The World Through Changing The Culture
So here you have three ways to impact the culture as a whole and thereby make your mark on the world and those around you. The first is to create art. Art moves the heart and plays on the emotions and is the most powerful agent of change as far as culture is concerned. Second is argument and education which plays on the mind and intelligence. A distant second to the heart but still important, especially for movers and shakers.
And then last you have living as an example. Which anyone can do. Through these three methods cultures can be changed and good things can once again grow in the mainstream culture as a whole. Culture is no accident but must be fought for and won, just like a piece of land, or anything else worthwhile in life. The mainstream culture is poison, now you have ammunition to fight back.
