The Only 25 Self-Improvement Books That A Man Needs To Read Part 3

Alright so, so far we’ve covered mindset, attraction, and masculinity, today we’re going to be covering wealth as well as a collection of random books, though I think I’ll do a focus on health considering that’s another big topic in a man’s life. We got a lot of ground to cover so let’s get started.

The Top 5 Books On Wealth

Of all the topics covered this is the biggest and the most expansive. Truth be told you’re not going to get everything that you need from five books on wealth, unlike with the others. Wealth is something it takes years to figure out and understand and there’s just so damn much to the topic. But it’s also the most important. In modern society wealth>everything, granted it’s been that way for awhile but still it’s something to keep and mind and understand. Especially with the economic changes that are coming where six figures might make you sort of middle class. Wealth is becoming more and more important. Regardless let’s get started.

The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ DeMarco

Do you know how wealth is actually created? Do you know how to keep wealth? Do you think a 401k is a good investment? Do you think you’re actually going to be able to retire? Do you think you can trust the stock market for your lifelong wellbeing? This book answer all of these questions and more. Truth is, like most things in life, you’ve been lied too about how money is made, retirement, what “stability” is, and a whole lot more. Let this book be your first step in the world of finance and be ready for the splash of cold water.

Sell Or Be Sold by Grant Cardone

A lot of people say Grant Cardone can be annoying, that’s he a bit over the top. And he may be all of those things but he’s also an excellent salesman. In this book he not only gives concrete sales tips which are invaluable but also talks about why selling is so incredibly important in life. For income, but also for life in general. Everything is a sale, especially in the modern day when use of force is only allowed by the government. Really the only thing you have is your persuasion skills, connections, and money. Learn not only solid sales skills but also get sold on sales by reading this book.

The Ultimate Sales Letter by Dan Kennedy

Now at first you might think why this one. After all it’s about writing sales letters, something that not many of us will likely ever do. Yet that’s not what’s important about this book. What’s important about this book is the look into human nature and copywriting. This book will make you write better, which is an essential skill, it’ll help you sell and persuade better which are also essential skills, and it’ll make you more informed about the most important topic in the world, human nature. Learn how things are sold in print and how to utilize these fundamentals for selling things in face to face interactions.

How To Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie

While not considered a “sales” book per se, still an incredibly important book that will develop your “soft skills” or people skills but another way, which again is perhaps the single most important skill to have in the modern world. You can’t go out and get things by force anymore, at least not without severe legal action (unless of course you’re part of the government but that’s a whole other topic). Point is people skills, soft skills, sales skills, persuasion skills, whatever you want to call that grouping of skills are incredibly important and this is one of the best books to develop them.

Secrets Of Closing The Sale by Zig Ziglar

If you can’t close then you’re not getting anything. Technically closing could be considered the most important part of the sales process because without it, you can’t get anything. Learning the ins and outs of closing the sale is incredibly important to develop your sales skills and getting what you want out of life. Not to mention that this book is filled with information about that most important of topics, human nature. One of the best sales books out there and one every man, regardless of his profession or desires in life, should read.

The Top 5 Health & Assorted Books

I thought of including fiction in here but it just isn’t going to fit maybe I’ll do another one with fiction. Most of this list will be health books because what’s the use of having wealth, power, and all of that if you don’t have your health? There is tons of money to be made by keeping you unhealthy so most mainstream health advice out there is going to be geared towards making giant corporations a fatter paycheck instead of healing you. So get the scoop yourself and then figure things out.

Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon Morrell

Sort of a cookbook but also a great start to what health actually is and where it comes from. It’s about a lot more than simply getting your macros right and the like. This book covers a range of different topics from how fats aren’t bad for you, at least real animal fats, the importance of having fermented foods such as kefir and kombucha, the role that your gut plays in your overall health and lots of other good stuff. And most important it serves as an introduction to a new way of thinking about health and wellness.

Arnold’s Encyclopedia Of Bodybuilding by Arnold Schwarzenegger

Forget 5/3/1, forget starting strength, forget 5×5, if you want real muscle with real workouts then this is the number one book on the subject. Arnold has a variety of splits for you to try here to build the maximum muscle that you can while also developing strength and flexibility. And yes, this works even if you’re natural. I still think its the best natural resource out there as far as building muscle and strength goes. Really about the only book you’ll need for developing muscle at the gym.

Carnivore Cure by Judy Cho

I don’t recommend the full fledge carnivore diet, it’s not something you have to do. However at the same time I really like it because it turns so much of what we “know” on its head. One thing the carnivore diet did and does is makes people reconsider things and do that hardest of all things for humans to do…it gets people to think. The carnivore code has a ton of good information on the importance of protein, fats, and animal foods. If you’re someone who wants to have good health, especially hormonal health then its something you’ll want to check out.

The Encyclopedia Of Country Living by Carla Emergy

There’s many different versions of this book floating around, just find one cheap. It’s not meant to be read straight through but rather used as a reference. I think this book contains knowledge and skills that every man should posses. It’s not the “only book you’ll ever need” but no book really is. As no one perspective can ever get anything, but regardless this comes close to being that. Contains everything from finding a plot of land that’ll work for you to beekeeping. A great resource to have on hand for a healthier and better way of living. Especially if you’re just now escaping the collapsing cities.

Beyond The Picket Fence by Marc MacYoung

It seems you can only get this book in kindle version anymore which is a shame but nevertheless it’s still worth reading. We all live in a bubble even if we don’t know it. It’s not our fault it’s just the way the world works. We can all only live in one place at one time. We may venture here to there but if you haven’t spent years in a place its hard to truly understand it. Point is, people are different, and sometimes not understanding these differences can get you killed. Especially as the world becomes more diverse and different cultures and ways of life are being thrown against each other. Know how to protect yourself and understand the world about you.

There You Have It…

The “only” 25 self-improvement books that a man needs to read, not really of course, but it’s a damn good start. This ran longer than I thought it would, not sure why I thought talking about 25 books would be quick but there’s the list. Not much else to do but buy them, read them, understand them, and then apply the understanding of them to your life and profit from it. Books are a tremendous resource and as others have said reading is essentially a superpower.

Don’t neglect books and what they can do for you. They can’t do everything, no single thing can, but they can do a hell of a lot. They can get you knowledge, information, and wisdom that was hard one and they can give it too you easily. They can save you years, can prevent you many hurts, and can expand your mind beyond what you thought possible.

Take advantage of it.

If anything I said here interests you I’d highly recommend you check out The Ultimate Alpha Collection which is a compilation of 16 of my books for the price of 5. It covers everything from being a man to making money to getting the right mindset to getting girls to fighting and more and is a resource no man should be without. Pick up your copy today!
