Putting On A Pedestal & Hatred Are Two Sides Of The Same Coin

One thing the modern world is very good at is having people devolve into unhealthy extremes one way or the other. This can be seen in politics, in relations, in actual living, and about a million other things. This isn’t to say that being lukewarm, “spiritual not religious”, or okay with everything is the right way to be, far from it. These things in and of themselves also represent an unhealthy strain of another sort.

One area where this is seen in spades is how women are viewed by men. You have much of a mainstream society that teaches boys to worship and venerate women in a way. That females are superior to males and that’s just the way that it is. Both sides of the political, cultural, and ideological spectrum do this in their own ways. If you think feminists are bad just listen to your average christian conservative talk about the “fairer sex”.

Naturally this is unrealistic and when these things turn out not to be true they lead to “the pendulum” so to speak swinging far in the other way. Hence you get things like the worst aspects of the red pill and the MGTOW movement. Males go from worshiping women and putting them on a pedestal to hating them with a passion. You go from one unhealthy way (and false way) of looking at things to an equally unhealthy and false way of looking at things.

Unbalance Creates Unbalance

Health and balance beget more health and balance. And unbalance begets more unbalance. I’ll use another example the rise of the so called “Nazi” ideologies in Western politics. To anyone with half a brain they saw this coming a long time ago and why you may not agree with it, it is a “natural” thing. Let me explain. It’s no secret mainstream society is becoming more and more openly hostile to those that once ruled it.

In the Western world this is going to be straight white males for the most part (those masculine males as a whole are also a target). Now you have political groups that more and more marginalize and hate on this group. When you do that to a group of people, any group of people, eventually they are going to start fight back (even white guys). And they’re going to band together and jump onto anyone who is going to be for them even if that person is unhealthy.

And what most mainstream groups are doing in response to this growing threat is doubling down on what created the threat in the first place. When you hear another pundit talking about hating white males you can’t help but think “Do you want nazis? Because that’s how you get nazis.” hence the ideologies grow. In theory what would work is extending an olive branch (let’s all take time to laugh) and try to work out differences but we all know that’s not going to happen. Hence the cycle continues.

Finding A Healthy Balance

What one must do is strike and find the healthy balance. This applies to every facet of life. And a healthy balance is not just what is inbetween the two most popular unhealthy extremes. Usually it is found in a completely different direction. Hence the whole “be okay with everything” ideologies are not manifestations of balance and health but of foolishness of a different kind. This can be potentially confusing but a critical distinction to make.

Yeah this isn’t easy. But if you want anything good in life (or at least the chance at getting something good) then easy should have left your vocabulary a long time ago. This requires thought and wisdom (both of which require work, which is the bane of most). You can’t just accept the spoon fed lies handed to you but must find your own truth and figure out what things are on your own.

Pretty much all ideologies have at least a grain of truth to them and it can be useful to take that grain without swallowing all the poison that comes with the rest of the ideology whatever it may be. As Bruce Lee once said (and I’m sure plenty before him) “Take what is useful, discard what is not.” and strike that happy balance.

Health & Balance

These two words unfortunately have been hijacked and often brings pictures of things they’re not. For example when one thinks of health one thinks of green foods when meats and fats are just as if not more important to good health. When one things of balance one things of one meditating or doing yoga. And while having a calm mind is great and needed being able to strike and rend flesh when needed is just as, if not more, important in the grand scheme of things.

My words are generally different than the mainstream definition of words. My words for God, good, health, and balance are different as are many more. When I speak of things I try to speak of them in the true sense and not in the mainstream societal sense. Seek health and balance, not belonging to an ideology.
