4 Examples Of Effective Propaganda Pieces

So before everyone gets their panties in a wad, a quick disclaimer. I do not endorse/condone/support the messages of these propaganda pieces as some are communist and others fascist or somewhere in between. However these pieces are great examples of propaganda and examples of how a country like ours could move in either way (and is). Also as a note the fascist ones will probably be taken off YouTube at some point so I’ll put their names in the description so you can see the example I’m talking about.

I specifically choose these examples because one they’re way more effective than you’re average democratic/Liberal propaganda examples and two they’re on complete opposite sides of the spectrum but both make use of effective propaganda techniques. Regardless of how you feel about the messages of either it’s important to note the tactics used and why they’re so effective.  Also realize propaganda is simply a term for a persuasion piece for example a sales letter or commercial for soap is technically propaganda of a sort.

Again these will probably all offend you at some level, another reason I choose them because by their very nature of being offensive it engages you more. Also again I do not condone/support them and I’m looking at them from a purely persuasive standpoint, not moral. Alright so let’s get started.

Propaganda Piece #1 – The Courage To Change

This is a propaganda piece by Alexandria Ocasio-Crotez she was running for congress in New York and won (no surprise). So let’s talk about this piece and why it’s so effective. Also keep in mind you have to think about the audience that this is directed at. So right at the start “Women like me aren’t supposed to run for office” she is starting off by stating she’s different and that women like her (insinuating darker skinned but not stating it explicitly also there’s a class angle going on) are not supposed to be politicians. Notice also how she rolls her R’s when saying her name and Puerto Rico (genius).

She hits great talking points health care, income, working class, education, and has plenty of diverse people in her commercial. Another powerful point is when she takes off her heels and puts on her “walking shoes”. She talks about the distance of the average democrat to the real diverse working class. Plus she’s hispanic, a woman, and supposedly working class. The only thing better would be if she was a lesbian. Also another powerful line “This race is about people versus money” a great line that’s sure to stir the emotions and “a New York for the many is possible”. All in all a great commercial from a persuasion standpoint. Also note the music going on in the background and the many shots of diverse working class New York.

Propaganda Piece #2 – Crying Children At The Border

I was trying to find a commercial that had a blue background with crying children audio going on in the background. I think it was for Unicef, it was great but I couldn’t find it but this works pretty good as well. So the talking head in this piece isn’t that good (really wish I could find that commercial) but here’s what works so great about this, crying children. Seriously from a pure persuasion standpoint pretty much nothing is better than crying children. It’s like the atom bomb of emotional impact. Matter of fact with crying children you almost don’t want talking heads. Just let the audio work its magic.

Very few women would not be effected by this as well as low testosterone men (aka most American men) would be as well. I don’t say this cynically simply from a truthful persuasion standpoint. I almost feel you could go house to house with the audio of crying children and get people to hand over their life savings just to get it to stop. You’d have to pretty much not have a heart to not be at least a little persuaded by crying children. An example where more can be less. For example in the Unicef (I think) commercial there was just a few words of text about something along the lines of what is this was your child?/let everyone into your country you heartless child hating racist! (of course that was just implied which makes it even more effective). Again great persuasive strategy.

Propaganda Piece #3 – The Lion Of Europe

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sf3nDX2T7w4

So this is a very well done piece from the complete opposite side of the spectrum. First time I saw this I didn’t even know it was alt-right or pro Hitler until about a minute in when I was already somewhat engaged by and intrigued in the narrative. So its starts out with a voice over with Christopher Walken talking about “the lion” overlaid with some “epic” music (that’s what the genre is called I believe) and a panoramic view of Europe and white people. Walken talks about the lion and how it gets lazy and then the lionesses, hyenas, jackals, and others start moving in on it. The video identifies the different perceived enemy groups with each of the animals.

For example Jewish bankers for the lion cubs, feminists for the lioness, and refugees for hyenas. This is very well done, from a persuasion standpoint it’s very smart. It overlays this with the video of white people getting attacked, beat up, exploited, or killed by these various groups. Most white people will feel their blood pressure rising at this point and then the most powerful point of the video comes. The screen goes blank Christopher Walken says menacingly “Then one day that lion gets up and tears the shit out of everybody” then the music drops and an image of Adolph Hitler giving the salute. Then video of the German military might fighting around Europe. Then after that part of the video it pans to happy attractive European women and European life will Walken saying “Because every now and then the lion has to show the Jackals who he is” and “It’s too late to be scared” and then video of white soldiers throughout time fighting (Spartans, vikings, crusaders, etc.). And then finishes with a speech by Hitler about how the most precious thing you have is your blood. Overall an extremely effective piece.

Propaganda Piece #4 – The Man Who Fought The Bank

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0B0V59cWDhY

This one I discovered when learning about the central banking system, an important topic (and you thought that women like strong dominant men was the red pill). As a side note I think one about Andrew Jackson could be done along the same lines and reach a wider audience than Hitler. So here we have Hitler giving a speech (usually speeches are boring by themselves but Hitler was a very persuasive and dynamic speaker so it works). So what this does is line up one of Hitler’s speeches with the things he’s talking about being true in America and Western democracies.

There is an indictment of democracy, capitalism, banking, and of course the Jewish people. One thing about Hitler and the Nazi party was they were very aware of propaganda and “optics” creating some powerful imagery that is used in this piece. So the case built the second part of the video changes gears (you can tell by the music changing) to a more confrontational part. Then it ends with the obligatory white chicks in wheat fields and then it takes a militaristic turn and talks about how Hitler fought the bank with bank crossed out and replaced with Jew. From a persuasive standpoint it’s an effective piece.

So In Summary

If you’ve ever wondered why certain people/parties can come to power you have to study persuasion and propaganda. For example while these these pieces may not do anything for you or even anger you they will have a very different effect on others, these pieces work great for their respective audiences. If you leave a comment or send me a email asking if I agree with these pieces I’m going to reach through the computer and slap you because as I’ve said a hundred times no I don’t.

But 25 years from now if you’re wondering why America is in a second civil war with militaristic fascists on one side (probably based out of wheat fields) and latina communists on the other (using only gluten free bombs), well now you’ll know.

If anything I said here interests you I’d highly recommend you check out The Ultimate Alpha Collection which is a compilation of 16 of my books for the price of 5.
