What Are Pheromones & What Role (If Any) Do They Play In Attracting Women? (Pheromone Authority)

I told Lurpe (the writer of this article) and who runs Pheromone Authority (obviously a site for pheromone information) that I was a bit skeptical about this whole idea of pheromones but was pleasantly surprised to see it’s connection to testosterone and hormones. So there is certainly something interesting here and a good read. Enjoy.

What are Pheromones?

A pheromone is a chemical produced by both humans and animals. This chemical is believed to affect the behavior of those around you, such as increasing sexual attraction and flirtatiousness. Unlike hormones, a pheromone works outside of the body, which is the reason it is able to alter the behavior of other people.

How Pheromones Work

Pheromones are produced by both men and women, and are detected by receptors in the Vomeronasal Organ, which is in the nose. Once the pheromone is detected, the hypothalamus in the brain is stimulated and a response begins. The hypothalamus produces emotions and responses to emotional situations. In turn, the body that has detected the pheromone can have an internal sexual response including attraction, sexual desire, and arousal. All of this occurs subconsciously, and the person affected never even realizes what is actually happening.

How Testosterone Works and how a man’s T Levels Effect Women

Testosterone, the sex hormone found in men, is made in the testes but the production is controlled by the brain and the pituitary gland. This hormone moves through the blood. In the morning testosterone levels, or T levels, are usually the highest. The levels are lowest late at night. Age affects the T levels, as well. From the time puberty starts and all through the young adult years, T levels are at their highest. After the age of 30, the levels tend to decrease, decreasing more and more every year. This sex hormone regulates sperm production, sex drive, bone mass, fat distribution, muscle size, and red blood cell production. If you have high T levels, all the things I just mentioned will be more substantial than in a person with low T levels.

Men with high T levels tend to have a healthier, athletic physical appearance, with more manly features. They tend to be more dominant, as well, and have higher social interaction and competitiveness than men with low levels. These are all things women seem to prefer in men. In addition to women being more attracted to men with high T levels, women are also known to be in a better mood, focus more clearly, and have better sexual responses when a man with high T levels is near them. Women can subconsciously smell high T levels, too. The smell you will produce is one that is more attractive to women.

Androstenone Pheromone and How it Attributes to the “Alpha Male”

Androstenone is a chemical that men produce, and men with higher T levels produce this chemical in larger amounts. Androstenone Pheromone is said to be the scent that is produced from this chemical, and the scent that women are more attracted to. This pheromone is most noticed when you have sweaty armpits. Having high levels of this chemical can lead to having an increase in sexual activities and kissing. Men with higher levels of this pheromone also tend to have more dates with women than men with lower levels.

As I mentioned before, men with high T levels, and in turn a high level of the pheromone, also exhibit many manly behaviors. These behaviors tend to attribute an “Alpha Male”. An Alpha Male is confident and dominant, which is something that occurs in men with high levels of this pheromone. This helps him act as a leader and helps him be able to tell people what he wants or needs. A confident man, or an Alpha Male, doesn’t care about the opinions or approval of others; he will make choices that make him happy. He is motivated and has the drive to succeed even with the disapproval or doubt of others. His opinion will be the only one that matters.

Another way confidence is an attribute of an Alpha Male is that it can prevent a man from becoming jealous. An Alpha Male doesn’t tend to get jealous or possessive over a girl and a confident man doesn’t normally possess that level of jealousy. An Alpha Male allows his girl to have the space she needs and the freedom to have fun without getting jealous.

High pheromone levels also lead to higher levels of social interaction. An Alpha Male is known for his sense of humor and outgoing personality, which all ties back to the pheromone level. An Alpha Male is good at making people laugh, and can take a joke, as well. He is also normally busy because he has many people who want to spend time with him, as a result of having a busy social life.

High T levels allow a man to be more muscular and in shape, which attributes to an Alpha Male. An Alpha Male is strong enough to protect himself and his family when there is a threat, giving those with higher T levels and Pheromone levels an advantage. Being in good shape is another attribute of an Alpha Male.

Conclusion

As you can see, T levels play an important role in a man’s life. A man with high T levels is more likely to score a woman than a man with low levels. Having high T levels can also help with becoming an Alpha Male. It all ties in together and the T level is the biggest factor.
