I Believe

Do you want to know why most people are not successful?

The truth of the matter is that it isn’t enemies that usually drag the would be winners from their path. No. Would be winners thinking is usually infected and destroyed by those closest to them. A mother who think you should do something “safe”, a father who thinks you need a forty hour a week job, a pastor who thinks you should get married.

They want to lead you to the grave.

Here’s the thing they may love you but that doesn’t mean they are helping you. As a matter of fact often these type of people are cancerous to your success.

Let me ask you a question.

Do you want to end like up your father/mother/friend/pastor/insert other. Do you? Do you want to be average? Do you want to work forty hours for an existence you hate?

If not then why the hell are you listening to them?

Ignore their doubt, what the hell do they know?

Seriously. Are they successful? Do they have a life you want to emulate. Think of the average Westerner that is the majorities of your parents. Do you want to end up like them?

I sure as hell don’t.

Look you can love them but dear Lord do not listen to them. I know it hurts when those closest to you doubt you. Don’t believe in you. Are too caught up in stupid inane bullshit. Buy hey that’s life. That is what your fighting against to not end up like that.

But to create a life you want. A life you enjoy waking up too. Something that is beyond many of our parents mind. Don’t let their small minds trap you. Destroy you.

The Solution

Irrational self-belief in yourself. Your dad says you won’t amount to shit. Your mother constantly asks why you just don’t settle down. Your friends shaking their heads at your newest business idea. Fuck em.

Seriously…

Fuck Them

Look at everyone who was an innovator, a game changer. They were constantly doubted their entire lives. By friends, family, and society. By the average.

Yet they had one thing in common.

They believed in themselves.

It doesn’t matter what others think about you. The only thing that matters is what you think about yourself. Let the doubt fuel you. Let their hate lift you to new heights.

People are like crabs in a bucket. When one works to get out of the bucket as soon as the crab rises above the general level it is dragged back down by the other crabs. Ensuring that it never escapes. The human race is no different. When you succeed it scares people. It reminds them that their fate was in their hands and you know what? They squandered it and now they can’t let you remind them of that.

People don’t want others to succeed. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. When you rise it makes others feel small. When you excel it makes others feel bad. So they try to drag you down to their level. Its miserable being a loser, its miserable at the bottom which is why those in the bottom are constantly trying to drag others down. Misery truly loves company.

You have your future in the palm of your hands!

Your destiny, your dream can be yours. But dammit son you gotta take it. You gotta fight for it. You have to scratch and claw your way to the bloody top.

No one is going to do it for you. As a matter of fact most people are against you. Including if not especially your friends and family. These people can toxic. They must be cut.

You’ve know them awhile, they raised you. So what? So therefore you owe them the rest of your damn life?

They could have aborted you, they could have put you up for adoption, hell maybe they did. Or maybe they didn’t. It doesn’t matter. You owe your life to no one.

Let me repeat that.

You owe your life to no one.

Many especially family will try to guilt you into being their slave. Into sacrificing your dreams. They are using you. Just like a john uses a prostitute your family can use you.

You owe them nothing. However there is something you do owe.

You owe it to yourself to live the life you were born to live. The life you were created to live. The life that deep down you will never escape from. In your deepest dreams it is there. You and only you will know if you ever fulfill it. It was something that was placed there from the moment of your inception.

And only you can create this life for yourself.

It doesn’t matter what “they” believe. What “others” believe. Only what “I believe”.
