The Dual Nature Of Man: Or How To Develop More Warrior Poets

The modern world has made a mockery of creation in a myriad of different ways. One of these has been the de-evolution of mankind, both male and female. However for this essay we’ll focus on the male. The modern world has robbed man of most of his essence that he was given the potential for when he was created and brought forth. The modern world turns things upside down and makes man a parody of himself.

Man has lost most of his soul, mental faculties, and physical stature. All one has to do is look through history to figure out that man has been on one long decline essentially since the beginning with some changes here and there. However even though this may be the overall trend this does not mean that this is the fate that one has for their life or that this is one’s destiny.

Man being able to choose can choose otherwise. Man can rise above his circumstances and the world he was born into. Man can reclaim his greatness and become something beyond what is average, what is par for the course. Which in today’s day and age is a sad sad thing worthy only of inevitable destruction at one point or another. But I’ll assume if you’re reading this then you’re looking to become and be more.

The Modern Lie

Essentially everything in the modern world is the inverse of what it is in a healthy society. Money over honor, the weak over the strong, the base over the noble (in the true sense of the word not the “moral” sense), and so on and so forth. This is by design and beyond the scope (or care) of this essay. Just a fact to know and know that if you feel like something is off with all of this, you’re absolutely right.

In a sad way depression, confusion, and the like is almost a sign that one is actually healthy in the modern world. But again a topic for another time and perhaps another author. But do know this the ethos pushed by the modern world (from both left and right, and from both this and that) is designed to rob man of his essential essence and turn him into a cog, a machine, and take away his humanity in the process.

And when man does exhibit beneficial traits it quickly subjugates them and prevents them from every becoming something stronger and more well-developed. Compare the nerd to the scholar or the jock to the warrior. And you see first hand the de-evolution of an archetype in the modern world, with the old being far superior to the parody that is the new.

Developing A Dual Nature

A man must be strong and flexible. He must be sensitive but also tough. He must be many things that at first glance to the foolish seem impossible. He must span a dichotomy and more. As I referenced to in the title he must be a warrior, a poet, and a whole lot more. This requires nuance and subtly and perception. It’s not the “10 Step Plan” that the modern world has reduced everything to.

It requires being able to bash a man’s face in should the situation call for it while also being able to see pain and suffering in the faces of those around you and fix it if called for. It requires you to stand tall against the strongest storms but also know when to show reverence to that which is greater than you without losing any of your pride in the process.

This is something that is beyond doing X or Y, it’s a philosophy and even a theology of sorts. One can’t shy away from things that are different or challenging but must seek out within oneself weaknesses and places that need development. Maybe it’s physical strength, maybe it’s not having the balls you need to, maybe it’s artistic sensibility, maybe it people skills, maybe it’s a million other things. But as a man you must develop across the board. And then and only then can you truly begin to understand what it means to be a man.

If anything I said here interests you I’d highly recommend you check out The Ultimate Alpha Collection which is a compilation of 16 of my books for the price of 5.
