Man in his corruption of heavenly principles has people convinced that the men that God loves most are the meek, the weak, and the destitute. The failures and rejects of this world. However this is simply a misinterpretation as anyone with half a brain can see that this is not so. The men that God loves most are those with the most life in them and them that are closest to him. The weak and destitute are far from God. They are not men after God’s own heart. Neither are the pious. The empty white washed tombs that do the things that please man. They act weak and destitute and holy. Things that trick man into thinking they are close to God but things that God himself spits at and reviles.
No the pious are not men after God’s own heart. They are not the crown of his creation, nor those closest to the eternal fire. The ones closest to God are those that are closest to ascension. There are many foolish notions about ascension. Many believe one must retreat from the world through asceticism and denial, through becoming less. But that is not how one ascends. One ascends by becoming fully human and developing that to its utmost and then becoming something more. You go through the fire and come out burning brighter and hotter than before, not snuff it out. God loves life and the spirit of it, after all he created it. You must become more and greater not less. To become closer to God and become part of the men that he loves most.
The Men God Loves Most
Of the three parts of man body, mind, and soul, soul is the greatest. Different professions roughly make up the different parts of man. You have the workers who represent the body. Men of letters who represent the mind. And then warriors who represent the spirit. The men that God loves most are the warriors and the warrior kings. The men that are closest to God are the warriors and warrior kings. Men who embody the best of body, mind, and most of all spirit. Men of war are God’s favored. I would also include great poets and artists in this ranking as well. As they embody the spirit of man most nobly as does the warrior. I should also note that a warrior and a soldier are not the same thing. The difference between them is the spirit.
The men who use their will to create the worlds and legends that we still here about today. Echoing their creator they will order out of chaos, light out of darkness. They live filled with life force, vigor, and strength. There are examples throughout history of men who embodied this fully. The warrior-poet-kings of ancient days and of legend. Men that were fully developed and fully men in every sense of the word. Those prized creations of their creator. Men who are filled with strength, wisdom, and life. Who have the strongest and most developed wills. Who represent the pinnacle of body, mind, and spirit.
A Man After God’s Own Heart
When we look through history one man that embodied this was King David of the Bible. He was a great warrior, a poet, and a wise man. He errors were errors all men can fall into, hubris and lust (infinitely better than the error of weakness). And yet he was still a favored of God and a man after God’s own heart. A man that spent much of his time bedding women, fighting with the sword, or writing poetry. This is the man after God’s own heart. Not the monk retreating from the world in his hovel. Not the do gooder school marm. Or any of the ideas that man has of what is close to God. No the warrior king filled to the brim with thumos is who is closest to him.
The man who fucks and fights and bleeds and sweats and lives. The man who embodies all the God created him to be and strives to be more. The man with a burning fire in his eyes and a energy and confidence that courses through his very bones. This is the true man of God and of the gods. This is something both men and women recognize instantly which is why both are drawn to men like this so much. It takes the lies of the world to convince us that a man of God is someone who inspires us little and therefore God is one who would inspire us little. But this is a lie.
Become His Champion
The path of the man of war is the hardest yet most rewarding path. You must develop fully the body, mind, and most of the all spirit. You must have greater physical development and skill than the worker. Greater development of mind than the scholar and other men of letters. And you must develop your spirit and will to the utmost level. Through the iron of discipline and the fire of thumos you will mold yourself into a champion of God and the gods. A man after his own heart that represents all he created man to represent. Great enemies will come against you, the average man will wish to be or follow you (or lose himself in jealousy), and women will be drawn to you as moth to a flame. But your number one focus will be becoming a greater champion and ascending to all that he wishes for you to be. A man in the full.
