What does it mean to subvert? According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary to subvert means to “1. to overturn or overthrown from the foundation.” or “2. to pervert or corrupt by an undermining of morals, allegiance, or faith.” so now with a clear definition why does subversion matter and what does it have to do you with you and me? Why should we as men care about something like subversion?
I’ve talked a lot about the primal cosmic order, essentially the order that God or the universe put in place that determined what is high and what is base. In this primal cosmic order things like strength are better than weakness, courage better than cowardice, wisdom better than foolishness, honor better than dishonor, and so on and so forth in general terms. Adhering to this order has helped man and his tribe, nation, and civilization rise high and accomplish much.
Going against this order always results in destruction sooner or later. Right now we have many forces at work in our world, community, and life that are seeking to subvert the primal and cosmic order. That are seeking to subvert and then destroy the things that you hold dear and that make a people and place prosper. Subverters are destroyers. We can see this in relations between the sexes, in business, and in living the world as a whole.
But what can be done to stop it? To fight back against it? How does one stymie or even subvert those that are subverting?
Let’s talk about this, but first…
Who Are The Subverters & What are Their Goals?
Let me tell who the subverters are not, they are not a certain political party. Nor are they any one particular nation or one particular religion. They stretch across the world and come in many different guises. As it says in the Bible “You will know them by their fruits.” Jesus was talking about false prophets but I think it applies here as well. Those that want to destroy the primal/cosmic order and all of the good that stems from it, which is essentially all good.
So we can’t say “Oh it’s political party X, or religion Y, or nation Z.” as subverters come from a variety of political orientations, nations, and religions. Again you’ll know them by their actions and they usually like to operate behind the scenes and out of sight. Why? Well only a fool would operate in the open and the subverters may be many things but fools is not one of them. Now what are their goals?
Well by and large they seemed opposed to the natural order and the goodness and stability it can provide to people. Now why would they be opposed to goodness and stability? Because they’re comic book villains and therefore not real? No, but rather because goodness and stability get in the way of them making money and way more important than that acquiring power. If that sounds like a conspiracy to you, well it might very well be. But the only conspiracy to me is that people with money and power would never conspire to achieve more of that money and power.
Why The Subverters Keep Winning
If you have eyes that see and ears that hear then you already know that the subverters as we’re calling them win day after day and year after year. The cosmic/primal order gets attacked more and more and people’s faith, morals, and allegiance to it gets chipped away with every passing day. Resulting in more and more chaos, destruction, and suffering. And this will only ramp up and get worse as things go on.
But why? Why do the subverters win? And why do they keep winning? And why does no one care or if they do care do nothing about it? Well that’s a multifaceted question that frankly I don’t have all the answers too, no one does. However there are some primary factors. First off people don’t know who the subverters are and how do you attack something you can only identify in nebulous terms? Not very well is the answer.
Second people feel hopeless. The subverters have the money and the power and that means everyone just has to take it and be okay with it, essentially. But it also comes from this. Subverters are experts on the most important topic you can ever study, and that is human nature. They are experts at persuasion, convincing, and leading people. They know the nitty-gritty of how humans tick and therefore how to control and manipulate them.
Money, power, and this knowledge are their greatest strengths and why they win day after day, month after month, and year after year.
How Does One Subvert The Subverters?
So with the money and power and knowledge of human nature how could one possible subvert the subverters? Well those who are looking to subvert the subverters have two major advantages on their side, but of course those advantages can’t be put to good use without the third thing I’ll talk about in a second. But first the two advantages those on the side of the primal cosmic order have. The first one is reality, subverters have to work against reality and what people see in their day to day lives.
This is hard but as we’ve seen anything but impossible. The second advantage people have is the fruits of the primal cosmic order. People who follow the advice of the subverters end up more and more miserable, people who follow the primal cosmic order end up living better lives overall. But again a person can grow to love their pain so this isn’t as big of an advantage at it first seems. So while you can’t match the money or power of the subverters you have to advantages on your side.
But those advantages mean nothing without the third thing. And the third thing is the same as it is for the subverters and that’s a deep and thorough knowledge of humans, human nature, humanity, how humans work, or whatever you want to call it. The influencer skills are the best place to start with this. You’ll lean 100x more about true human psychology and behavior from sales then you would from getting a Ph.D in psychology. Without the influencer skills your advantage is going to go to waste.
Again referencing the Bible Paul told people to be as innocent as doves as far as honor and morals were concerned but at the same time he said to be as wise as serpents, where most people remain dumb as sheep.
So How Does It Work?
You start by changing yourself. By understanding the world around you and moving from ignorance to knowledge. This is often a depressing journey, at least at first, but ultimately leads to good rewards. There will be times on the journey when you’ll regret having started it and wish you could back to ignorance. But if you persevere you’ll find that it leads to good things. Make an example of yourself first and foremost, then you can lead others “back to the light”.
Back to proper ways of living that facilitate health physically, spiritually, and mentally. That facilitate prosperity, happiness, and peace. When people see your success they’ll naturally be curious, lead them gently towards your way of life, show them the truth with kindness, while making sure to to attack their ego or defend your own. Let learning and the exchange of true information take place.
Maybe write on the subject, start a YouTube channel, do something to lead, instruct, and motivate others, empower others. Plants seeds that’ll bear fruit later. Be like Johnny Appleseed throwing seeds here and there, before you know it half the damn country might be covered in trees of truth. Might be stretching the analogy but you get the drift. It starts with you then you spread it to others.
That’s how the subverters get subverted.
Bonus For Novelists
Story telling is one of the most powerful persuasion skills know to man, perhaps the single most powerful. And no one pumps out more stories than Hollywood. It’s not secret that Hollywood is one of the biggest factories of subversion and filth in this world. However it can be useful for those with good writing chops and are looking for ideas to turn into short stories or especially novels. Now how you may ask.
After all Hollywood is literally doing the opposite of what we want to do so what could we possible learn from them? But that’s the thing. Hollywood is doing the opposite of what we want to do. So we take a Hollywood script and essentially write the opposite of it. The things that good guys stand for the bad guys stand for and vice versa. I’m not saying you copy it exactly and obviously don’t plagiarize but for general ideas it’s a gold mine.
