Most definitely # 3 . Any time I find out that a credible combat / or tai chi instructor is doing seminar , and my money is right I’m there I’ll make time for it ! It’s amazing you have these professional ass kickers on YouTube or black belt magazine that You can track down meet and pick there brains , yes the seminar thing is the way to go !
Absolutely. Nothing replaces live demonstration.
Agreed. I have quite a varied martial arts background but got the chance to dip my toes in MMA a couple years back when Roxanne Modaferri lead a workshop at my school. The moves and drills were an absolute eye-opener for me. Not because they were some kind of secret top level techniques, but because they were so outside my realm of training. Nothing beats seminars/workshops from high quality instructors.
