I’ve written before about getting the “don’t mess with me look” the look that a man who seems like he’s been in the ring and taken a few hits and is familiar with combat. A look that signals masculinity, strength, and dominance. I also talked about why women love brutish looking men and have discussed elsewhere the importance of looking good for not just your attractiveness to women but also men’s first impression of you. Sure bad first impressions can be overcome and some of the biggest bad asses that have ever walked this earth didn’t look anything like you’d expect.
But it’s best to develop as much as possible the physical characteristics of a masculine and dominant man. Here I’m going to be talking about two more traits that signify a strong man that you can work on developing in yourself. This will not only attract more women (which is never a bad thing) but will also improve men’s perception of you. This is useful for everything from getting a promotion to not getting you ass kicked in a bar. So let’s get down to 2 physical characteristics of strong, dominant, and masculine men and how you can develop them.
Masculine Physcial Characteristic #1 – A Square Jaw
One of the biggest hallmarks of a masculine apperance is having a broad and square jaw. Think of how superheroes are portrayed and you get the general idea. Developing a square jaw is one of the number one things that you can do to develop a more masculine and attractive appearance. However we all have different genetics and some of us were exposed to more testosterone in the womb than others. There’s nothing we can do about this, it has to do with nature and your mother’s diet during pregnancy.
But there are things that we can do to help develop our jaw. There are things like chewing some strong gum (don’t use myself and think there are better ways but could try) to the most effective method which is losing bodyfat. Most people have an aesthetic face at the right body fat level, especially if you have any appreciable muscle mass. It’s sort of like abs, we all have them just for some they’re covered under a layer of fat. So the best thing you can do for this is get down to teen level body fat (where exactly will depend on you).
Masculine Physical Characteristic #2 – A Thick Neck
I saw a post going around on Twitter where a guy’s neck was thickened or made skinny. It stood out to be because it took famous people and it was crazy how people’s perception of them changed. For example take away Channing Tatum’s neck and he goes from your girls dream to just some pencil neck dweeb (alright who’d still be famous and rich but that’s not the point here). Likewise take some other skinny dweeb thicken his neck up and suddenly men’s respect and women’s desire for him shoots up.
Don’t underestimate the power of a thick neck for drenched panties or men’s respect. Alright so I talked a how to develop your neck in “How To Get The Don’t Mess With Me Look” but I’ll rehash the basics here. First off number one thing to do is get a neck harness and use it every night. Then secondary do things like deadlifts, shrugs, power cleans, and wrestler’s bridges to help thicken up your neck. You can also do that thing where a guy holds a towel over your head and pulls while you push against it. Anyway to stimulate your neck that doesn’t hurt you is good.
The Power Of Aesthetics
Don’t underestimate the power of aesthetics. The three principle things that have been revered throughout the years have been strength, wisdom, and beauty. Sure aesthetics are no replacement for the first two but they still mean something. How you look says a lot about who you are. Are you disciplined and do you take care of yourself or are you lazy will little self-respect and therefore have let yourself go?
Look aren’t everything but they count for a whole lot more then we’d be comfortable admitting. And that’s with both men and women. So if you want to develop a more masculine apperance (and why wouldn’t you) then here are two things to focus on. Getting a square jaw and building up your neck’s thickness. For starters your neck should go out past either side of your jaw/chin, where you want to take it from there is up to you.

Gotta have a strong neck! I drive a lot and one thing I do is “Neck Isometrics” all day long. Neck Isometrics mimic wrestling combat.
Nice, remember doing those in wrestling, haven’t done them in awhile will have to try them out again.
