The Foundation Of Wisdom

Wisdom is more precious than gold. Wisdom is the foundation upon which everything rests. Without wisdom man has little to his name. As precious as instincts are without the refining of wisdom, man barely rises above the level of beast if at all. A fool suffers in every time and every age. In every society to fool suffers and is burned. Often by his own hand. Yet the wise man prevails in every age and every time. No government, system, or outside force can stop him. His wisdom is hard won and is his and any other man’s most precious resource.

Nowadays there is much man pursues after that will gain him little. Don’t get me wrong money, women, status are all important in a man’s life and I am not so dense as to say they do not. But acquiring any of the above simply for the sake of acquiring them and validating yourself is an exercise in futility. It will bring you nothing but emptiness. Women do not fulfill a man. Money does not fulfill a man. Status does not fulfill a man. A man can only be fulfilled by embracing his own manhood and pursing after wisdom. Seek wisdom and everything else will follow.

The Story Of Solomon

I remember as a young boy hearing the story of the great king Solomon. The wisest man of the Bible. I remember hearing about how Solomon was offered anything he wanted. He could have had beautiful women, money, fame, his enemies conquer before him. Yet Solomon choose to have wisdom above everything else. Because of this Solomon also acquired women, money, and fame. Because he choose the foundation upon which getting whatever you want from life is built, wisdom.

Wisdom should be sought above all else. Because when you find and acquire wisdom, you by default acquire everything else that you want and more. Wisdom is the path to fulfillment and getting the most out of life. There are billionaires who are unfulfilled. There are men who have slept with hundreds of beautiful women who are unfulfilled. There are men who have achieved great fame and status who are unfulfilled. As fun as these things can be without something more they are pointless. Without wisdom they are worth nothing.

I Know That I Know Not

It has been said that the beginning of wisdom if the fear of God. Fear meaning respect. The way a warrior respects his great warrior king who has been in more battles than him and has earned everything he has. To respect something greater than yourself and understand that there is a natural and ancient order to everything and that you play a part in it. To understand the plans of meddling men whether to turn women into men or to create a one world government will come to naught in the long run. For they are up against a power far greater than they are. This isn’t to say men shouldn’t act but rather that they should realize that they are part of something greater than themselves.

I make a lot of mistakes. I have written things that are wrong, I have done things the hard way. You my readers are much more adept at an untold amount of subjects than I. If you know better than me (which on many things you will) I want to hear from you. I know I make mistakes. I humbly present what my life experiences have given me in hopes that it can illuminate the lives of others. Nothing more and nothing less. I know that there is much that I don’t know and therefore I constantly pursue after wisdom.
