The mind is truly a marvel. Mankind has gone to the moon, conquered every continent, and built great empires yet man is no where close to discovering all that the mind can do. The mind will always be the final frontier. The great and powerful unknown. I don’t say this to sound esoteric but rather to speak truthfully. Those drugged out yuppies who always drone out about the mind and universe are as serious as the guy who lives in his mom’s basement breaking boards thinking he can whip anyone’s ass. True learning of the mind is one of the most practical and worthwhile things that you can.

One important facet of your mind is your attitude. More than your height, intelligence, race, age, economic situation, geography or anything else your attitude makes a bigger difference in where you ultimately end up, for better or for worse. With the mind you can create anything you can mold your life to what you want. A fundamental part of doing this is having a can do attitude. Unfortunately important concepts such as having a can do attitude have been watered down and mass marketed by cheesy self-help gurus to dumb yuppies. However these concepts at their root are very important and potentially life changing.

What Is A Can Do Attitude?

A can do attitude is the attitude that no matter what comes your way and no matter what life may have in store for you that you will come out ahead and that you can make it. It means when confronted with an uncomfortable situation you take action because you know success is possible if not inevitable for those who continue to try. Whether it is approaching a beautiful woman or having to defend yourself in a fight. When you have the attitude that you can do it and that you can succeed it can be the difference between getting what you want or not getting what you want.

Life is for the most part a self-fulfilling prophecy. Put another way life is what you make it. It’s ten percent what happens to you and ninety percent what you do with it. Remember man is the active force, he acts upon reality and others. He is not made to be passive and when he is he suffers for it. If a man wants something he must go out and either take or create it. There is no other option for a man.

How To Cultivate A Can Do Attitude

First a can do attitude comes with self-belief, when faced with something you go for it because you know that success is possible. When you face a challenge you give it a try. You never say there’s no point, you always take action and move forward. The next time you find yourself sitting back instead of charging forward correct yourself and go forward. Much of this has to do with having a positive attitude or being optimistic. Meaning you expect the best.

You expect things to go your way. Most of the time what you expect is what you tend to get. For example if you go into an athletic competition and think you will lose then you will most likely lose. The mind controls the body and when the mind says you can’t win even if your body is capable the mind will win. This also holds true when having positive expectations. For example if you go up and approach a girl expecting her to like you and want you. Even if she wasn’t crazy about you at first your boldness and confidence will turn her on. Remember mind is the master.

Summary

With the right attitude you can do just about anything. Sure it will take time and trial and error, as well as educating yourself. But with the right attitude, a can do attitude you keep on until you make it. You can go from the geeky virgin to the dominant stud. From dead broke living in a car to multi millionaire. The right mindset can take you from any place to any place. Have the belief that you can do something and stay at it and you will eventually do it. There is no way you couldn’t, unless you give up.
